Job summary

Legacy Bank in Colwich, Kansas is seeking a Loan Operations Supervisor to lead and develop the Loan Assistant team. The role focuses on building talent, establishing clear standards, and ensuring compliant, reliable loan operations.

Reporting to the Loan Operations Manager, you will coach, set development plans, and drive process improvements while maintaining regulatory and internal policy compliance. This is an on-site role with emphasis on talent development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial loan operations or loan support.
Minimum 2 years of direct people leadership experience with accountability for the performance and development of others.
Experience building training programs, written procedures or career paths is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop Loan Assistants into loan specialists who make decisions within defined authority.
Publish and maintain the decision authority framework for the team.
Lead onboarding and continued training programs for Loan Assistants.
Own individual development plans and quarterly reviews for each team member.
Oversee annual performance assessments and succession planning with the manager.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and bank guidelines in all loan documentation.
