Job summary

Filene Research Institute seeks a Director of Fintech Innovation Programs to lead FiLab’s fintech testing portfolio across multiple credit unions nationwide. You will direct end-to-end field tests, establish testing standards, and coordinate with partners through due diligence, contracting, testing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, innovation or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in program leadership, innovation, partnerships, product implementation, or related discipline.
• Experience in financial services, fintech or credit union industries preferred.
• Leadership and portfolio management capabilities with accountability for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Filene's fintech testing portfolio and ensure execution of every test.
• Manage tests from cohort launch through field execution to final reporting.
• Onboard credit unions to tests and match them to priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with participating credit unions and partners.
• Iterate and improve testing methodologies and standards.
• Review test plans and secure resources for each project as portfolio grows.
• Lead the annual fintech application and selection cycle and facilitate finalist discussions.
• Shape scouting priorities and manage fintech partners from due diligence to testing and reporting.
• Collaborate with researchers to design tests and generate actionable insights.
