Job summary

FundThrough is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead finance operations as the company scales across North America. You will own internal controls, monthly close, regulatory filings, and reporting to founders and investors. You will manage a four-person team and coordinate cross-border consolidation and ERP systems.

You bring a US CPA with 8+ years as Controller in high-volume finance environments. Startup experience and a passion for scaling a business are essential.

Qualifications

• US CPA with 8+ years as Controller.
• Experience leading a small accounting team.
• Hands-on with internal controls design and monitoring.
• ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Experience with cross-border consolidation and regulatory filings.
• Interest in high-growth startups and tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal controls across finance operations.
• Lead, manage and develop a four-person finance team.
• Own daily cash release controls and documentation.
• Establish ongoing monitoring and remediation of control effectiveness.
• Oversee monthly close and board/investor reporting.
• Coordinate regulatory filings across US states and Canada.
• Manage cash movements and liquidity planning with CFO input.
• Oversee payroll, ESOP/cap table records, and policy updates.
