Job summary

PowerPay is expanding its servicing team and seeks a Collections Specialist to support our growing customer base across multiple loan programs. The role involves delinquency management, customer outreach, and reviewing credit reports.

Local candidates can enjoy a partial remote arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days from home); non-local candidates may work remotely. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in collections, reading credit reports, and proficient use of Google Drive and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Spanish language ability is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of collections experience preferred.
• Ability to read credit reports is preferred.
• Experience with Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrates effective listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Service an assigned portfolio of accounts in a delinquent payment status.
• Assist charge-off and collection accounts for homeowners who need payment for loan approval.
• Monitor all standard collection procedures according to PowerPay’s policy to minimize loan delinquencies.
• Communicate with customers for collections purposes through outbound calls, email, text, and chat.
• Review customer invoices for accuracy.
• Willing to help out with other back-end responsibilities and special projects as needed.
