Job summary

FINBOA is hiring a Client Implementation Engineer (Back End) Level 1 to support technical onboarding and integration for banking and fintech clients. The role focuses on database configuration, query optimization, and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable client experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong back-end skills, experience in SaaS, and familiarity with Reg E processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required).
• 3+ years in customer-facing roles (technical support or customer success).
• 2+ years in a SaaS environment, back-end support focus.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and implementing Azure-based solutions.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in task prioritization and agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support back-end requirements for projects, including batch processing, data exporting/importing, and UAT.
• Partner with internal teams and clients to define and implement project-specific configurations.
• Maintain compliance standards and manage change control processes for all implementation projects.
• Communicate technical specifications, enhancements, and solutions to clients clearly.
• Monitor batch processes, resolve errors, and document software bugs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Use project management tools (e.g., Asana) to track tasks, timelines, and resources.
• Deploy and manage FINBOA solutions within Azure environments, ensuring compatibility with containerization.
