North.Cloud is hiring FinOps Advocates in New York to lead cloud cost optimization on GCP and Azure. You will work with prospects, customers, and our product team, bringing hands-on experience with real cloud spend and cost management.

This practitioner role emphasizes deep cloud FinOps expertise, ownership of cost outcomes, and collaboration with executives on strategic decisions. The position reports to leadership and operates in a hybrid New York setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years running cloud FinOps, either as head of a practice or in product management at a vendor.
• Ownership of cloud cost outcomes rather than advisory involvement alone.
• Deep fluency in GCP, Azure, or both, with hands-on billing data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Join evaluations as the technical authority on GCP and Azure costs from first call through close.
• Explain GCP/Azure billing data and identify meaningful savings opportunities.
• Run proof-of-concept engagements and honestly assess fit.
• Stay involved post-signature to help customers build a FinOps practice with North.
• Identify accounts where adoption has stalled and address issues before renewal.
