Expect 8-12+ years in cloud cost management with strong data analytics, AI fluency, and experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Travel up to 80% is required; multiple engagement types are available.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in cloud cost management and FinOps
• FinOps Practitioner or FinOps Engineer certification preferred
• Demonstrated 15–30% cloud cost savings delivery
• Strong data analytics & visualization skills (SQL, PowerBI)
• Federal FinOps experience helpful but not required
• Willingness to travel up to 80%
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, CS, or MIS preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FinOps strategies aligned with business goals
• Create FinOps roadmaps embedding cost-conscious practices into engineering lifecycles
• Design KPI frameworks with targets and accountability
• Establish governance for tagging, budgeting, and resource accountability
• Drive automation and transparency in cost reporting, anomaly detection, and forecasting
• Build ROI models and cost reduction business cases for executives
• Integrate findings into A&M's broader engagement scope and deliverables
• Support practice development through internal training and content creation
