Aerotek in Tulalip, WA is seeking a Finishing Technician to perform grinding, deburring, and finishing on metal components in a foundry/manufacturing setting. You will follow established methods, use hand/power tools, and collaborate with the team to meet production goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working with noise, dust, chemicals, heat, and molten metal.

Qualifications

• Experience with grinding, deburring, metal finishing, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, gauges, rulers, and calipers.

Job Title: Finishing Technician

Job Description

The Finishing Technician performs grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on metal components to support efficient and safe production in a foundry and manufacturing environment. This role follows established work methods, uses hand and measuring tools, and works closely with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts using hand and power tools.
• Use measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Follow production instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Perform repetitive, hands‑on production work accurately.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Lift and move materials weighing 3050 lbs.
• Wear required PPE and work safely around industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with grinding, deburring, metal finishing, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, gauges, rulers, and calipers.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical work.
• Able to work around noise, dust, chemicals, heat, and molten metal.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, MondayFriday
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM3:30 PM
• Swing Shift: 3:30 PM12:00 AM
• Foundry/manufacturing environment.
• PPE required, including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
