Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Operator for the 7PM–7AM shift in Ohio. You will handle packaging slit rolls, operate the packaging line, and assist with rotating duties in a fast-paced finishing environment.

Responsibilities include sorting and labeling finished goods, maintaining quality, and supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. High school diploma or GED and 3+ years relevant experience preferred; forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• Package slit rolls to customer specifications and operate the manual packaging line.
• Prepare cores for machine operators and banding tasks.
• Inspect finished goods and maintain clean work area per 5S standards.
• Coordinate information across shifts to ensure smooth packaging flow.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving teams.
