Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Finishing Operator to support packaging and finishing operations on the C-Shift (7PM–7AM). You will package and label finished goods, inspect appearance, prepare cores, and coordinate with teams to ensure quality and on-time shipments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience, safety focus, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime; computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.

• Willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Lift Truck Operator’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label and package finished goods per customer specifications.
• Inspect the general appearance of finished product.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and keep packaging materials stocked.
• Communicate and coordinate information with shift/department personnel.
• Track multiple orders being packed and shipped at once.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in group problem-solving and 5S audits.
