Avery Dennison is hiring a Finishing Operator for the B shift (3:20 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday) at our Ohio facility. Responsibilities include packaging slit rolls, operating the packaging line, and preparing cores for operators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong safety, quality, and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Experience operating packaging/machine equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods per customer specs and quality standards.
• Inspect general appearance of finished product.
• Keep packaging area stocked with materials.
• Prepare cores for machine operators.
• Coordinate information with shift/department teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Track multiple orders being packed simultaneously and maintain productivity.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow 5S practices.
• Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
