Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Finishing Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:45 pm–8:00 am). You will participate in machine set ups, changeovers, and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards.

You will maintain a safe work area, manufacture according to specs, run orders, assist in set-ups, record downtime and performance, and contribute to continuous improvement in the Finishing Department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Able to follow written and oral instruction.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro transactional skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Manufacture products to required specifications for Finishing assets.
• Run orders per product specifications and standard practices.
• Assist in routine set-up and changeover of machines.
• Accurately capture and record operating data, including downtime causes.
• Inspect appearance of finished product and support continuous improvement.
