Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Finishing Operator to oversee S3, S4, rewinder, sheeter and lever assets, leading set-ups and changeovers while coordinating preventive maintenance and machine adjustments to sustain quality.

Work on the 3rd shift (11PM-7AM) with a starting hourly rate of $25.09 plus $2.00 shift differential. Responsibilities include loading materials, monitoring cycles, testing, housekeeping, production scheduling, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Must follow written and oral instructions with safety as a core value.
• Strong focus on quality and problem solving with proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Load raw material into the machine and unload finished products.
• Set and adjust machine cycle; modify as needed to maintain quality.
• Perform tests and routine checks using standard measurement devices.
• Maintain housekeeping of assets and document equipment performance.
• Meet production schedules and program production sequences for productivity.
• Follow SOPs and monitor meters, gauges, and related controls.
• Maintain production records and logs; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work overtime as needed and obtain lift truck certification.
