Qualifications

• Operator level 2 in most processes (Finish; welding; blending).
• Proficiency in basic to intermediate computer use.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to be consistent in message, with part quality and process integrity as top priority.
• Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and others.
• Exercises a high degree of care in handling parts to avoid damage.

Responsibilities

• Know, uphold and abide by relevant regulations, policies, procedures, guidelines, Cardinal Rules of Safety and Quality, and EH&S rules.
• Partner with department leadership in training new employees to ensure standard training.
• Assist in administering qualification/certification tests for department staff.
• Create and update tech cards to assist training.
• Validate that work instructions are accurate and followed.
• Request traveler changes to align with work performed and customer requirements.
• Validate work instructions meet PCC San Leandro standards.
• Participate in corrective actions for permanent solutions.
• Participate in auditor training and become certified internal auditor.
• Communicate issues with Production Supervisor, Product Development Engineers, and Quality group.
• Continuously assess procedures and reinforce training as needed.
