Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Training Specialist in San Leandro, CA to fulfill technical training needs and uphold quality and process integrity.

The trainer will deliver group and individual courses, evaluate performance, and update tech cards and instructions to ensure accuracy and standard work. The role requires strong communication, computer skills (MS Office), and experience with Lean and audit processes.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs (group and individual).
• Ability to evaluate personnel performance and provide coaching.
• Experience updating technical cards and work instructions to reflect current processes.
• Familiarity with auditing, corrective actions, and Lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training to employees in the department.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback.
• Update and maintain tech cards and training materials.
• Validate work instructions are followed and content is accurate.
• Participate in audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Lead 6S initiatives and safety training activities.
