Job summary

LifePort in Woodland, WA, is seeking a finisher to appropriately finish or refinish aircraft furniture and related components. You will sand surfaces, apply primers, and ensure finishes meet exact specifications in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates bring a GED/HS diploma with experience, strong math skills, and proficiency with Outlook and ERP systems. Compliance with safety and export controls is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to perform arithmetic including rates, ratios, and percents; interpret bar graphs.
• Proficient with Outlook, ERP Manufacturing software and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Finish or refinish damaged or used furniture to specified color or finish.
• Smooth and sand surfaces for finishing; prepare pieces and spray primer as needed.

Position Overview:

Finishes or refinishes damaged, worn, or used furniture or new high grade aircraft furniture to specified color or finish by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

• Smooth and sand surface for finishing
• Prepares and Sprays primer on work piece
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Proficient with Outlook, ERP Manufacturing software and time and attendance payroll systems

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
