Job summary

Shore Lodge Whitetail Club, a premier resort in McCall, Idaho, is seeking servers with enthusiasm for the culinary world and Forbes 4 Star service standards. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.

The role requires experience in fine-dining or high-volume settings, strong customer service, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Training in wine knowledge and high-end service is valued.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with and from guests and team members.
• Ability to multi-task while being highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to correctly take a guest’s order, enter it into the POS system, and tender it.
• Able to carry 25 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Functional wine and cocktail knowledge for service.
• Know the Shore Lodge history and local area well.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and present specials, share enthusiasm for culinary world, wine and spirits.
• Take orders and deliver food and beverages accurately and timely.
• Upsell food and beverage options with informed suggestions.
• Check in on guests to ensure meals exceed expectations and resolve issues.
• Calculate chit and complete payment processing, including delivering the check.
• Communicate diplomatically with serving and back-of-house teams.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Clean and stock service areas, do side work, garnish prep, and stock prepping for next shift.
• Support and participate in other duties as determined by F&B Management
