Responsibilities

• Greet guests.
• Set up hors d’oeuvre/buffet tables and pass food and beverage items as requested.
• Set tables to specifications.
• Set up bar banquet bar to BEO specifications within a specific timeline.
• Follow SOPs to standardize event setup and service.
• Provide beverage service by preparing cocktails, serving wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Prepare and serve drinks in Shore Lodge specifications.
• Service multiple courses and manage wine service and coffee service as required.
• Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and timely.
• Carry trays from kitchen to serving areas.
• Take drink orders and enter orders into POS, then deliver.
• Possess wine knowledge and proper service techniques.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide appropriate service.
• Use basic math to calculate tabs and make change.
• Know Shore Lodge’s history and local area to assist guests.
