Job summary

Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho is seeking outgoing Banquet Servers to deliver quality guest service during large events. You will work with catering staff to ensure courses are served quickly, keep glasses filled, and assist with cleanup and breakdown after service.

The role requires 6 months of fine-dining or high-volume experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task with attention to detail. Knowledge of wine and cocktails is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in fine-dining or high-volume environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multi-task while staying organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to correctly take a guest’s order, enter it into the POS system, and correctly tender it.
• Able to carry 25 lbs on a large oval tray; lifting supplies or equipment of thirty (30) pounds or more.
• Functional knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food service.
• Know Shore Lodge’s history.
• Know McCall and surrounding area to assist guests with local offerings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set tables to specifications within guidelines.
• Set up hors d’oeuvre/buffet tables and pass food items.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Multi-task while staying highly organized and detail oriented.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain glasses filled.
• Assist with service breakdown and clean-up after events.
