Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food Hygiene awareness and basic training.
• Must be TIPS Certified prior to or after hire.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Legible written communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage to guests in established service style and standard.
• Promote image of the restaurant with impeccable manners and tact.
• Maintain constant flow of communication with the team.
• Upsell specials, meals, and beverages to guests.
• Relay orders to kitchen following procedures.
• Monitor guests to fulfill additional requests.
• Keep station orderly with china, cutlery and condiments.
• Assist hostess with greeting and seating guests.
• Handle bills, cash procedures and Micros postings.
• Perform daily tasks and adhere to health and safety requirements.
