Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc is seeking a Restaurant Server to welcome guests, suggest dishes and keep service on track from order to plate. You will tailor experiences to guest tastes and uphold high standards in a busy dining room in Atlanta.

You will handle safety, hygiene, and cleanliness, assist with washing up when needed, and wear the uniform with pride while supporting the team on ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Strong – ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs (23 kg) and work with bending/kneeling.
• Excellent reading, writing and basic maths required.
• Flexible with night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliant with local food handling laws and alcohol serving rules; fluent in local language.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with menu recommendations to enhance dining experiences.
• Own your workspace and manage supplies and equipment to minimise waste.
• Communicate safety issues to supervisor and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and cleanliness in line with local laws.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.
• Help guests with queries or advice to improve their overall experience.
• Wear the uniform with pride and support the team with ad-hoc duties.
