Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking a Model Lounge Server to deliver upscale service to discerning guests in our ultra lounge. You will greet guests, provide table service, upsell menu items, and maintain a polished appearance while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with bartenders and hosts, handle payments securely, and contribute to special events. A minimum of two years’ lounge server experience and a 21+ age requirement apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a cocktail/lounge server or similar role.
• Exude confidence and have a captivating presence, maintaining a polished and stylish appearance.
• Poise, style, and a sense of elegance consistent with the lounge's image.
• Capability to recommend and upsell premium beverages and offerings.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to VIP guests.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain guests effectively.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Collaboration with bar and service staff to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Proficiency in processing payments and managing transactions.
• Familiarity with responsible alcohol service regulations and safety practices.
• Willingness to work in a banquets environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Must fit in the beverage uniform and refrain from altering it without permission.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome upon arrival at the lounge.
• Provide table service, take orders, serve food and beverages, and fulfill guest requests promptly.
• Suggest and upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Be knowledgeable about daily specials and seasonal items to answer questions accurately.
• Maintain a polished appearance in line with dress code and grooming standards.
• Keep the lounge area clean, tidy, and presentable, including tables and chairs.
• Manage multiple guests efficiently and balance tasks to deliver orders promptly.
• Process guest payments accurately (cash, card, digital) following security procedures.
• Follow health, safety, and alcohol serving guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with bartenders, hosts, and management to ensure seamless service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Participate in event planning and execution for special lounge events.
• Attend training sessions to develop hospitality skills.
