Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, Texas, is seeking a Server for our Double Cut Steak House to deliver friendly, attentive service and help create a memorable dining experience.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of fine dining experience and be comfortable operating Micros terminals, POS and beverage dispensers; bilingual skills are preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class and state-certified food handling certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of fine dining experience at comparable restaurants.
• Ability to operate Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive friendly, responsive, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and make recommendations.
• Take orders and enter them into the POS system for kitchen and bar execution.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner with proper service etiquette.
• Assist fellow associates as needed to maintain smooth dining operations.
