Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Spotsylvania County, VA is seeking a Server for Double Cut Steakhouse. You will provide friendly, responsive service to create a memorable dining experience and work with a team to uphold the Kalahari Promise to Lead with Love.

Must be 18+, with 1 year front-of-house preferred, able to operate Micros and POS systems, and may require bilingual skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
