Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Virginia seeks a Bartender for Double Cut Steak House to provide friendly, responsive service and craft quality beverages for guests.

You will greet guests, guide them through menus, take orders, maintain a clean bar, monitor alcohol serving, and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience in a high-volume setting. A bartender license and alcohol/food handling certifications are required; tips are in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bartender’s license to work in this position.
• Certification in alcohol awareness and proper food handling is required.
• Experience in fine dining or high-volume beverage service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately with friendly, attentive service.
• Take orders, guide guests through menu and beverage selections.
• Enter orders into POS for kitchen and bar; deliver accurate service.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and proper napkins, garnishes, and glassware.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and take corrective action as needed.
