Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Restaurant Server to join our hotel team in Nashville. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure a consistent, high-quality dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior front-of-house experience in full-service restaurants, are reliable, and able to perform duties including cash handling, POS operation, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant preferred, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests promptly and professionally.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Serve food and beverages, check temperature, appearance and portions.
• Operate the POS system and manage cash handling per policies.
• Periodically check-in with tables to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain dining areas, stations and servicing equipment cleanliness.
• Complete closing duties and reports; adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
