Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an attentive Food & Beverage Associate to deliver exceptional service in our restaurant, lounge, in-room dining, and banquets. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, buss, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness across service areas for smooth daily operations.

Key requirements include 2 years of fine dining experience, strong guest service skills, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Flexible hours and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age (to serve alcohol).
• 2 years’ experience in fine dining or upscale service environment.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Proficient in basic math and POS systems.
• Team-oriented, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests promptly and courteously.
• Take food and beverage orders, upsell menu items, and input orders into POS system.
• Deliver orders accurately to tables or guest rooms.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, beverages, allergens, wine pairings, and specials.
• Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared between courses and after service.
• Assist in restaurant setup, side work, and closing duties.
• Support bussing, food running, and in-room dining as needed.
• Adhere to state liquor laws and hotel service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, trays, and equipment.
