Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Front Server for our fine dining establishment. You will greet guests, explain menu items, and serve meals with polished hospitality, ensuring precise checkouts and collaboration with teammates.

Training and feedback will be provided to maintain service excellence. Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, supporting the Captain, and following brand standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills for hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage menu items.
• Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Follow service guidelines according to Brand standards.
• Ensure table is properly set for each course.
• Provide support to Captain.
• Know all Food & Beverage menu items.
• Follow proper sales techniques per service manual.
• Follow checkout and cash handling procedures.
• Keep service area and tools clean and organized.
• Return items to zoned locations; attend trainings.
• Assist in training and mentoring of new staff.
• Complete opening/closing paperwork and checklists.
• Work in other hotel areas as needed to support operations.
• Promote and support Sonesta’s vision for guest service.
• Deliver passionate and engaging service to guests.
• Follow the GUEST model: Greet, Use name, Establish needs, Solve requests, Thank.
