Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a friendly, guest‑focused Server to welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with care. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced hotel dining environment.

Ideal candidates have two years of server experience in a full-service restaurant and a high school diploma or GED. Ability to stand long shifts, work weekends/holidays, and pass food handlers/TIPS certificates is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests in a prompt and professional manner.
• Engage and interact with guests as appropriate.
• Respond to all guests’ questions and requests.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Serve food and beverage orders after checking for correct temperature, appearance, and portions.
• Adhere to cash handling and credit card policies and procedures.
• Operate POS system to process orders and payments.
• Maintain dining areas, stations and servicing equipment.
