Job summary

MaKiin Concepts Hospitality Group in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead front-of-house operations and deliver an outstanding dining experience. This full-time role requires strong leadership, guest service finesse, and the ability to manage staff, scheduling, and communications.

You will partner with the GM to oversee payroll, P&L considerations, and cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant management in a fine dining concept.
• Store volume sales +3MM.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing requirements for restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline FOH staff.
• Institute ongoing training programs to maintain high service standards.
• Schedule staff and manage pre-shift meetings and communication.
• Interact with guests to promote services and resolve issues.
• Assist GM with wine and bar program management.
• Organize events in-house and offsite.
• Manage online reputation and respond to inquiries and reviews.
• Oversee payroll processes and cost optimization.
