Nicola's Ristorante in Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood is seeking energetic server assistants to support servers and ensure a welcoming dining experience.

You will set tables, refill drinks, clear and reset spaces, run food to tables, and greet guests while staying on your feet for long periods and lifting 50+ lbs as needed. This is a fast-paced role requiring teamwork and reliable, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay on feet for 4+ hours.
• Able to work in a fast-paced dining environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with proper silverware, glassware, and dishes.
• Refill drinks and clear glasses as needed.
• Clear dirty dishes from tables and reset spaces for the next guests.
• Prepare tables for new guests by resetting them.
• Run food to tables in a timely manner.
• Greet guests and provide menus as needed.
• Ensure supplies are stocked before, during, and after shifts.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house teams and relay special requests.
