Nicola's Ristorante in Cincinnati is seeking a friendly, professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and support the service team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

The ideal candidate has experience in hosting or hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment. This role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s system.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Coordinate seating to maintain smooth service and rotation.
• Answer phone calls and reservation inquiries.
• Maintain the host stand and entrance area.
• Communicate guest needs with servers and management.
• Assist with guest departures and thank guests for dining.
• Support front-of-house operations during peak times.
