Nicola's Ristorante in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a friendly, professional Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating to ensure a seamless dining experience. As the first point of contact, you will answer calls, guide guests to tables, and support the front-of-house team during busy periods. Previous hospitality experience and a polished demeanor are preferred. This role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative work environment.

Competenze

• Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s reservation system.
• Escort guests to tables while providing menus and initial information.
• Coordinate table seating to maintain smooth service flow and server rotation.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Communicate guest needs and seating updates with servers and management.
• Assist with guest departures and thank guests for dining with us.
• Support front-of-house operations during peak service times.
