Nicola's Ristorante in Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood is seeking energetic server assistants to support servers and ensure a welcoming dining experience.

You will set tables, refill drinks, clear and reset spaces, run food to tables, and greet guests while staying on your feet for long periods and lifting 50+ lbs as needed. This is a fast-paced role requiring teamwork and reliable, friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide menus as needed.

We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals to help deliver a special, curated experience to each guest and continue our legacy of outstanding hospitality.A server assistant's primary role is to help servers and provide a good dining experience for guests. Their responsibilities include:* **Setting tables**: Set tables with the right silverware, glassware, and dishes* **Refilling drinks**: Refill drinks and clear empty glasses as needed* **Clearing tables**: Clear dirty dishes and glasses from tables* **Resetting tables**: Prepare tables for the next guests* **Running food**: Run food to tables in a timely manner* **Greeting guest**: Greet guests and provide them with menus as needed* **Stocking supplies**: Ensure supplies are stocked before, during, and after shift* **Communicating**: Communicate effectively with the FOH and BOH to ensure timely service* **Assisting with special needs**: Respond to any special needs and requests quickly, and relay them to the server or manager, if necessary## QualificationsServer assistants should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate with individuals from different backgrounds, and possess organizational skills.
