Job summary

KeyBank in Columbus seeks a Personal Banker to engage clients, uncover needs, and provide guidance for financial wellness. You will build relationships with individuals and small businesses, attract new clients, and expand existing relationships across deposit and lending products.

The role requires a customer-driven mindset, strong communication, and ability to work as part of a branch team. Flexible hours and branch locations are included in the hire ahead program.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in developing current and new customer relationships and achieving sales goals.
• Strong understanding of consumer credit and loan-to-value concepts.
• Ability to educate clients on digital platforms and Key banking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Embed a strong client experience culture, listening for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations.
• Open personal and business accounts and deepen relationships with clients and partners.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and support branch operations as needed.
• Occasionally lead in-person morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
