Job summary

Navigant Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Advisor I to frontline member service, cross-sell banking products, and support loan processing. You’ll handle in-person, phone, and online interactions, helping members meet financial goals.

The role emphasizes compliant service, collaboration with branches, and community engagement, with opportunities for growth within a large Rhode Island credit union.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook; banking software experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service in person, over the phone, and online; process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and address changes.
• Cross-sell products by helping members open accounts and recommending suitable financial services.
• Assist with loan applications, collect documents, and provide loan status updates; originate and close various consumer loans.
• Address member inquiries with empathy while adhering to compliance and risk controls, including BSA and the SAFE Act.
• Collaborate with branch teams and partners to deepen member relationships and hit sales goals.
