Job summary

Navigant Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Advisor I (Universal Banker) to serve members in person, by phone, and online from our Rhode Island footprint. You will assist with deposits, withdrawals, lending, and cross-sell products to meet financial goals.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset. The role includes travel within the branch network and a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; banking software experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; service-oriented and able to educate members on products and services.
• Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player willing to travel within the credit union footprint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service in-person, over the phone, and online; process transactions.
• Cross-sell products and advise on accounts and services to meet member needs.
• Assist with loan applications, collect documents, and provide loan status updates; originate loans.
• Address member inquiries with empathy and adhere to compliance and risk controls.
• Collaborate with branch team and partners to deepen member relationships.
• Meet annual sales and service goals and engage with the community.
