Job summary

Hanover County Community Services Board (HCCSB) in Virginia is seeking a Financial Technician II or higher to support payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, grants processing and revenue accounting. This is a clerical role with potential for growth within the county’s Financial Operations team.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Reviews/verifies input sources and posts payroll/accounts payable and/or procurement related entries.
• Maintains reconciliation, reporting and payment of retirement and insurance premiums.
• Prepares payroll, accounts payable, general ledger and grant balancing reconciliations.
• Prepares wire transfers and transmits compensation, PO, and deduction information.
• Provides support in general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, grants, budgeting and purchasing.
