Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, banking, financial services, cash-handling, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working with computers, internet applications, word-processing, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and visitors in the lobby in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide prompt customer service and determine members' financial service needs.
• Process financial transactions, including receiving and paying out money and maintaining records.
• Assist with services such as wire transfers, statement copies, check orders, stop payments, payroll allocations, and visa/check card requests.
• Provide information about loan products and assist with loan applications.
• Prepare forms and documentation for financial products and services.
• Enter and maintain accurate member and sales information in computer systems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with members.
