Job summary

Multipli Credit Union is seeking a skilled loan officer to promote a positive service relationship and engage with members and nonmembers by identifying loan products and account services that best fit their needs.

In this role, you will underwrite loans, open accounts, and support cross-selling of enhanced financial services while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. This position is not eligible for remote work and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Confidentiality and discretion in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Takes member loan applications and underwrites according to policy; follows up on applications and inquiries; processes approved loans and schedules closing and disbursements.
• Opens new accounts, CDs, IRAs and other credit union products; explains services to members and nonmembers to generate business; analyzes opportunities to promote products.
• Resolves account-related questions and concerns with members and nonmembers.
• Evaluates branch activities for compliance with policies and objectives; may assist with ITM and Vault Replenishments and Balancing.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
