Job summary

Goldenwest Credit Union in Utah is seeking a part-time Financial Service Representative to assist members with currency transactions, new accounts, and consumer loans. Expect weekday afternoons and rotating Saturdays with a $15.00/hour base, plus bonus and incentive opportunities.

We emphasize exceptional member service and earning trust while complying with regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with currency transactions and account openings.
• Process consumer loan applications and teller transactions.
• Answer member inquiries by phone and in person.
• Promote and pair credit union products and services with members’ needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and participate in ongoing training.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our Financial Service Representatives eagerly assist members and prospective members with currency transactions, opening new accounts, and consumer loan needs.

Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Information

• Monday through Friday 1:00 PM – 6:15 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• $15.00 per hour, based on experience and performance + Bonus + Incentive
• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
• Complete teller transactions.
• Process consumer loan applications.
• Assist members by phone while business is being developed.
• Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members’ financial needs.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

Experience, Education & Certification

• High school diploma required
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred
