Job summary

Goldenwest Credit Union in Utah is seeking a Financial Service Representative to assist members with currency transactions, open new accounts, and manage consumer loan needs. You will complete teller transactions, process loan applications, and support members by phone as the business grows.

Expect to build long-term, trusting relationships while adhering to regulations. This role offers a guaranteed base wage with annual bonus and a generous incentive/commission schedule, plus benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with currency transactions, opening new accounts, and consumer loan needs.
• Complete teller transactions.
• Process consumer loan applications.
• Assist members by phone while business is being developed.
• Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members’ financial needs.
• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our Financial Service Representatives eagerly assist members and prospective members with currency transactions, opening new accounts, and consumer loan needs.

Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Information

• Monday through Friday 1:00 PM – 6:15 PM. Rotating Saturday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• $15.00 per hour, based on experience and performance + Bonus + Incentive

Experience, Education & Certification

• High school diploma required
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred
