Job summary

Goldenwest Credit Union in Utah is seeking a Financial Service Representative to assist members with currency transactions, open new accounts and address consumer loan needs.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. The role offers a guaranteed base wage, annual bonus and incentive opportunities, plus strong benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with currency transactions.
• Open new accounts and advise on consumer loan options.
• Complete teller transactions and process loan applications.
• Assist members by phone and cross-sell products and services.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain member trust.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our Financial Service Representatives eagerly assist members and prospective members with currency transactions, opening new accounts, and consumer loan needs.

Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Information

• Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• $17.00 per hour, based on experience and performance + Bonus + Incentive
• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
• Complete teller transactions.
• Process consumer loan applications.
• Assist members by phone while business is being developed.
• Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members’ financial needs.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

Experience, Education & Certification

• High school diploma required
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred
