OpenTrain is recruiting a Financial Reporting and Audit AI Training Expert to apply accounting and finance expertise to AI training data. You will review financial reports, statements, audit procedures, financial models, tax compliance documentation, and related legal and financial materials, assessing accuracy, completeness, clarity, logical structure, and alignment with accounting standards and regulations. Your feedback will help improve how AI systems reason about real-world business information.
Review and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established accounting standards. Assess audit procedures, identify gaps and best practices, and consider regulatory implications across business scenarios. Create and evaluate financial models for logical structure, accuracy, and useful insights. Analyze tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues. Review legal and financial documents for clarity, correctness, and regulatory alignment. Provide clear written and verbal feedback on project materials. Support the development and evaluation of datasets for AI training using experience with annotation, labeling, or model evaluation processes.
A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is required, along with substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements. Candidates should have strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgetary controls, taxation, and government regulations. Clear written and verbal communication, careful attention to data accuracy, and experience as a CPA, cost accountant, financial auditor, general accountant, internal auditor, or revenue tax specialist are important.
Advanced certification such as CPA, CMA, or CIA, experience implementing financial systems and controls, and prior work with data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation can strengthen your contribution. Prior AI experience is not required.
