People Incorporated of Virginia is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to support accounts payable, accounts receivable and basic cash transaction processing. This full-time, non-exempt role ensures the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and assists with billing, bank and credit card reconciliations under the Accounting Manager - FinOps.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in accounting or business and 2–4 years of related experience.

• Strong accounting and analytical skills with understanding of fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal teams, auditors, vendors and stakeholders.

People Incorporated of Virginia is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Financial Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting People Incorporated & subsidiaries financial operations by performing key financial duties related to accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and basic cash transaction processing. This role ensures the timely and accurate recording of transactions, supports internal departments with billing and payment processing, and assists with bank and credit card reconciliations. The FinOps Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and helping the agency meet its operational goals. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Accounting Manager- FinOps. An Associates degree in accounting or business is preferred and a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in AP, AR or general accounting is required.
