Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment is seeking a Financial Operations & Accounting Lead in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role requires 3–6 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 exposure, and a track record in high-growth startups.

Qualifications

3–6 years of professional accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 foundation (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG).
Startup experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (Series A–C, 50–500 employees).
End-to-end ownership of financial workflows (AP, AR, billing) and complex systems.
Experience implementing/optimizing financial tech stacks and leading audits.
Experience in businesses that manage physical inventory or hardware.

Responsibilities

Map out existing financial workflows and implement new systems across revenue, billing, and AP.
Select, deploy, and optimize financial software for reporting, billing, procurement, and audits.
Strengthen and scale the month-end close process into a repeatable, efficient cycle.
Collaborate with other departments to guide financial decisions and optimize cash management.
Build and mentor a high-performing financial operations team over time.
