Job summary

BPM LLP in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced Client Accounting and Advisory Services professional to join our CAAS team. You will manage client accounting services, including month-end close, A/P, A/R, journal entries, reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.

You will work on engagement teams, support managers on private company projects, and collaborate on ERP implementations to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• Pursue a CPA designation or track.
• Minimum 4 years in public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Intacct, NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of GAAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounting services including month-end close, A/P, A/R, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for clients.
• Contribute to engagement teams on private company projects and compilations.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on ERP implementation and process improvements.
• Synthesize research into actionable recommendations for clients.
• Participate in special projects to support client growth and learning.
