Job summary

The University of California, Berkeley is seeking a Financial Services Analyst 2 to support Lawrence Hall of Science operations. You will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, travel, and data reporting, while assisting the Resource Management Group in daily business operations.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers Bi-Weekly pay, with up to 3 days/week remote work within the United States. Salary range is posted and compliance with UC policies is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cashiering and financial processes and policies.
• Strong knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process deposits for campus services; investigate discrepancies and reconcile ledgers.
• Oversee cashiering tasks: cash boxes, counts, and change orders.
• Handle BearBuy & BFS: purchasing forms, approvals, and data posting integrity.
• Manage reimbursements via Travel/Entertainment system with approvals.
• Input AR invoices and monitor receivables; assist with interdepartmental orders.
• Track and distribute centralized services and participant gifts.
• Engage in professional development and other duties as assigned.
