Job summary

The University of Toledo’s College of Medicine is seeking a COMLS Financial Operations Administrator 1 in the Dept. of Cell and Cancer Biology (107500).

Reporting directly to the Chair, you will manage fiscal operations, compliance, and employee/faculty employment needs for the assigned area, helping shape the department’s mission and goals. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, chairs, and clinic administrators to support academic and research programs and implement department strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or accounting preferred.
• Master’s degree in business administration, management or accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in related administrative management positions required.

Responsibilities

• Manage fiscal operations, compliance, and employment needs for the assigned department(s).
• Collaborate with the chair to establish department business and administrative missions and goals.
• Support the department’s academic and research program activities and services.
• Work with faculty, staff, chairs, research professionals, and clinic administrators as needed.
