Job summary

CARE-Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Financial Manager to own daily accounting operations and the financial close process.

You will work directly with the President, guiding process improvements and long-term growth while overseeing payroll automation and cost controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years in accounting/finance.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Advanced analytical skills and GL/reconciliation knowledge.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and budget analyses.
  • Implement accounting policies and cost accounting systems.
  • Suggest process changes to reduce costs and boost revenue.
  • Manage the bookkeeper and operations teams.
  • Lead payroll, time tracking, inventory, and asset controls automation.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable financial solutions.

Financial Manager – Lead Daily Accounting and Financial Operations for CARE-Property Services, Inc.
Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will work directly with the President to completely own the daily accounting operations and financial close process. This role gives you the day-to‑day autonomy to lead financial strategies that directly impact company profitability. Your leadership will shape process improvements and guide multiple teams toward efficient, long‑term growth.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, financial statements, and budget performance analyses.
  • Implement modern accounting policies, standards, guidelines, and detailed job cost accounting systems.
  • Recommend strategic process adjustments to actively reduce operational costs and enhance corporate revenue.
  • Provide direct management, supervision, and leadership to the bookkeeper and operational teams.
  • Lead the automation of payroll, time tracking, inventory, and equipment control systems.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of dedicated accounting or finance experience.
  • Strong proficiency utilizing QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Advanced analytical skills with thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior accounting experience within the inspections or general contracting industries.
  • Demonstrated success in automating manual payroll and inventory tracking workflows.
